Naiche's Profile

I'm a molecular biologist trying to figure out the genetic controls that allow embryos to develop properly.  I'm an avid reader of science fiction, and, while I'm not a purist, I prefer the stuff where the authors get at least some of the science right.   I also read some of the darker fantasy, such as China Mieville, and both general fiction and non-fiction about things that interest me.  My icon is the head of the most amazing cane ever made, which my friend Drennan created for me so that I would feel good about myself after knee surgery.
